Estihana Teaneck was thrilled to welcome its patrons back this past week for “dine-outdoors” dining with an altered and warm setting, appetizing additions to its menu and discounts for customers. The restaurant is delighted to once again offer the local Jewish community an affordable and delectable experience of Southern Asian cuisine.
On Monday evening, the restaurant and its staff glowed with warm enthusiasm as its first dine-outside patrons since March were seated in the restaurant’s charming backyard dining area with full compliance to social distancing protocols. Diners were greeted by a full menu that could be accessed on an iPad supplied by the restaurant or on their own devices.
The quaint, elegant and private but relaxed atmosphere was set by glossy, gently-lit black velvet table settings lined against Chinese bamboo walls, making it optimal for a couple’s night out or family dinner. With popular Jewish music playing in the background and a maximum capacity of 25 people, diners conversed and sampled flavorful authentic foods in a warm and serene setting reminiscent of a family sukkah.
Also waiting for diners were many new additions to the menu, including Japanese-style banana tempura, Vietnamese barbeque lamb riblets and Sichuan beef chili noodles. For customers who preferred to eat at home, Estihana had a plethora of amenities to offer: 10 percent off of all dine-outside menu prices, a redesigned website, a complete and revamped online ordering service with free delivery in Teaneck, and takeout-only specials of Vietnamese Banh-Mi baguette sandwiches. Many takeout customers also chose to order using third-party services such as Uber Eats, DoorDash, Grubhub and Curbngo, all of which were recently integrated into Estihana’s service.
Priding itself on reaching all members of the community in these challenging times, Estihana will be providing 15 percent off of all online orders with the code ESTI15 at checkout starting Monday, June 22. Beyond the usual lunch specials that give half off its Chinese-Wok entrées, the restaurant will also be launching a post-lockdown summer lunch special, offering one of its high-end Asian beef, beef caesar or chicken caesar salads for only $14.50.
