JFSCNJ Homecare Dept Receives Full Accreditation With Distinction From CAHC

Jewish Family Service of Central NJ (JFSCNJ) is pleased to announce it was recently awarded Full Accreditation with Distinction for 2020 by the Commission on Accreditation for Home Care (CAHC). Since 1986, CAHC has been protecting the interests of home care consumers and supporting quality home care agencies.

The purpose of accreditation is to ensure that agencies delivering home care services meet established state regulation, industry, and best practice guidelines.

Full Accreditation with Distinction is awarded when a provider has achieved Full Accreditation for a minimum of two (2) consecutive annual monitoring surveys.

Executive Director Tom Beck stated, “We are very proud to be awarded this distinction. Our nurses and home health aides work tirelessly to assure that clients are able to age safely in place in the homes they love.”

The Homecare Program at JFS has been in place for over four decades and has a long history of providing quality home health care to the residents of Union County. All services are provided by Certified Home Health Aides under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.

Contact [email protected] if you are in need of homecare services. JFSCNJ also has Caregivers at Home, a private fee-for-service program that provides homecare. Contact Director of Nursing, Maria Mullen, [email protected], or 908-352-8375 for further information.
