Linking Northern and Central NJ, Bronx, Manhattan, Westchester and CT

Some time ago I wrote a letter to this newspaper related to an article penned by Steve Starr, Esq. I took issue with Mr. Starr’s suggestion that Modern Orthodoxy has not been sufficiently involved in kiruv work. Well, that was then and this is now. Recently Mr. Starr penned an article (“The Committed Life,17 Years Later,” September 10, 2020) concerning his commitment to a life of observance. The article is poignant and quite insightful. It is a must-read for all serious Jewish individuals. Rather than summarizing this thoughtful piece, I advise everyone interested to read it. Thank you, Mr. Starr, for a timely and inspirational piece. Shanah Tovah U’Metukah to us all, indeed.
