Ma’ayanot Celebrates Rosh Chodesh With a Cheshvan Carnival

The students of Ma’ayanot High School celebrated this past Rosh Chodesh with fun, games and a little relaxation! On Monday, students in grades nine to11 were treated to an outdoor carnival with games, snacks and inflatables! Students enjoyed bowling, tossing rings, sliding down a giant inflatable slide, a giant checkers board and more. It was a great way to enjoy the beautiful weather and welcome a new month with each other. On Thursday, the 12th grade (who were remote on Monday) celebrated the new month with a relaxing “Morning at the Spa” and the reminder that even though Cheshvan is the month with no chagim, having time to catch our breath, taking time to pause, is an important way to be inspired, too! Seniors, decked out in their most relaxing spa outfits, enjoyed a yogurt parfait bar and relaxing music, while also giving themselves manicures and practicing yoga. Ma’ayanot celebrated with lots of fun and a little zen to set the tone for a great beginning of the new month.
