The Jewish Home Family’s Parkinson’s Center will host endurance athlete Larry Grogin at 4 p.m. on Thursday, November 5, on Zoom. Grogin is a top endurance athlete who has competed in 28 Ironman Triathlons and 300 marathons, and was recently diagnosed with Parkinson’s. Grogan’s program, “Shoot for the Stars and Hit the Moon— Fighting Parkinson’s with Exercise” will be presented free, but registration is required at jewishhomefamily.org/grogin
The event will kick off the return of the Jewish Home Family’s Parkinson’s Support Groups in a virtual setting and will recognize the array of Parkinson’s therapies offered by the Jewish Home’s Center for Parkinson’s Disease (including boxing and wellness classes being given virtually).
