This week, in a Yavneh Academy Gan Mini Makerspace, the students were introduced to the STEAM bins. They learned that the word STEAM is an acronym for Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math. A STEAM bin is a container which has one or two materials inside. There are also task cards, which give the children a challenge of something to build only using the materials inside the bin. STEAM Bins help build problem solving skills and are a lot of fun!
