At Bruriah Middle School, teachers embrace questions and encourage girls to share what is on their minds. Rabbi Marcus, rabbi of Congregation Israel of Springfield as well as a Bruriah High School teacher, visited the eighth grade to answer some very thought-provoking questions. The girls discussed topics such as emunah, Mashiach and Kiddush Hashem. Rabbi Marcus shared that what we do as a Jewish community is looked at by everyone, and spoke about the importance of Kiddush Hashem. As Shira Kaplitt said, “I was so happy to have my questions answered, and hope Rabbi Marcus can come back!”
