Linking Northern and Central NJ, Bronx, Manhattan, Westchester and CT

Bruriah students enjoyed chesed week, facilitated by the student-run Chesed Committee. The committee chose to focus the week on supporting Hatzalah, in appreciation of their constant assistance, specifically during the pandemic. On Monday, the Chesed Committee sold Dunkin’ Donuts, and the proceeds from the sale were used to buy gift packages for Hatzalah members in different communities. On Wednesday, the students got together during lunch to write thank you cards to be delivered with the packages. As Elianna Glick, a junior from West Orange, said, “It got us into the mood for Thanksgiving, being able to thank the people who work so hard to keep us safe and healthy.” On behalf of the whole Bruriah family, thank you, Hatzalah, for all that you do for the Jewish community.

Tali Finkelstein is a Junior at Bruriah; she is a from Bergen County.
