Yeshivat He’Atid fifth graders are using their current novel study unit to learn about comic book storyboarding. The students are reading “Sign of the Beaver,” a novel by Elizabeth George Speare as part of their interdisciplinary unit on Early Americans. The students reflected on their favorite part of the book and worked on using the text to rewrite parts of the story into scenes for a comic book. They used the storyboarding online program, Storyboard That to put their ideas together into a digital storyboard!
