Over 100 people of all ages joined together in the parking lot of Congregation Ahavas Achim in Highland Park on Motzei Shabbat of Thanksgiving weekend for an uplifting melave malka kumzitz. Social distancing was enforced, with family groups seated together around fire pits that made the cold weather more bearable. Pizza, drinks and joyous music combined to create warm spirits. Youth leader Akiva Neuman led attendees in song, accompanied by synagogue member Craig Hanoch on guitar.
