It’s been an exciting, challenging, inspiring and crazy first few days of Chanukah in the Moriah middle school. The students were shocked and thrilled late last Thursday afternoon when Color War 2020 broke out during a scheduled candle-lighting ceremony on Zoom. The captains and leaders were announced, team rosters were distributed and Blue Team/Yachid and Yellow Team Rabim were set to face off in countless fun-filled activities over the next few days.

Noise and excitement about color war filled the hallways as each grade competed within its own pod for team points.

Color war activities this year included The Great Debate, Minute to Win It, Encore!, Dreidel Palooza, and Among Us. The students all had a chance to participate and share their multiple talents in art, dance, trivia, debate, Torah, sports, music and more. Kol hakavod to both team Yachid and winning team Rabim for a great display of creativity and sportsmanship.
