JEC Primer Students Want to Draw a Snowman

Have you ever built a snowman and discovered the next day that his grin has gotten a little crooked, or his tree-branch arms have moved? And you’ve wondered…what do snowmen do at night? Morah Heather Leibowitz read “Snowmen at Night” by Caralyn Buehner to her students last week. The author gives funny details about the secret life of snowmen and where they go at night.

The children worked very hard during a directive drawing lesson, creating special snowmen pictures. The children then wrote about what their snowman did at night—very impressive creativity!
