Children in the pre-k class at The Lauren Elise Bier Nursery School love using the iPads in the classroom. Aside from using the iPads for brain breaks or quiet music while they rest, one of the children’s favorite activities is using them to play Osmo. Osmo allows the children to practice their number recognition, one-to-one correspondence, letter and sound recognition and fine motor skills. During center time the children work independently as well as in small groups on these games and practice their skills. Having this technology in the classroom has really enhanced the children’s learning.
