JEC Lower and Middle School Students Learn From Dr. King

In honor of Martin Luther King Jr. day, Mrs. Drazen ran meaningful programming throughout the lower and middle schools. Lower School students enjoyed listening to the story “The Sneetches” by Dr. Seuss. They learned an important message about diversity, inclusion and equality. Middle School students listened to a powerful speech titled, “What is Your Life’s Blueprint,” that Dr. King delivered to middle school students. Students completed follow up activities with their classroom teachers focusing on taking Dr. King’s messages and incorporating them into their own lives.
