Yeshivat He’Atid Second Graders Celebrate Mesibat Chumash

Yeshivat He’Atid’s second-grade students had been working with their morot preparing for their upcoming Mesibat Chumash. The classes filmed and performed beautiful songs and incredible dances to celebrate this long-awaited milestone. This year’s celebration was different than in the past, but the students were just as excited for the Motzei Shabbat Zoom “film premiere” of the Mesibat Chumash, learning with Rav Ronen, and Sunday’s fantastic drive-by celebration than they were for any typical year—mission accomplished! If this year has taught us anything, it is to find appreciation for the simplicities in life. Although the Mesibat Chumash looked different this year, the result was the same: Yeshivat He’Atid second-graders learned that Torah learning is a privilege and something to look forward to with eagerness and excitement. They have learned that you don’t need a fancy event to truly appreciate the beauty of the Torah; all you need is a Chumash, passionate Morot and a school that facilitates building meaningful connections to Yahadut each and every day.
