Nefesh Yehudi Academy’s annual Tu B’Shevat program, where grandparents are able to learn with their families, was a huge success this year. Usually, geographic restrictions limit attendance, but grandparents were able to join via Zoom from all over the globe. Rabbi Michael Birnhotz from Vero Beach, Florida shared a story teaching the students how everything can be a blessing. This program was followed by a special Tu B’Shevat song performed by the first grade class. The program concluded with everyone participating in a Tu B’Shevat drawing class with Andrew Galitzer (www.andidrew.com) and a presentation of all the finished products. Grandparents and students were excited to see each other and share their work.
