Increase Sales, Lower Costs With E-commerce Platform FutureEcom

Brothers Avi and Eliezer Rosenblatt founded FutureEcom, an E-commerce platform, to help mid-size businesses grow. Their platform simplifies the marketing and selling of products online at a much lower cost than their competitors.

Eliezer is a licensed attorney with experience in hi-tech companies. He started his own consumer goods company, and soon realized the importance of an E-commerce presence. “It can’t be overstated how important it is to have an online presence, whether you are a brand, importer or retailer,” Eliezer said. Avi, meanwhile, comes from a background in computer science and accounting. Avi has years of programming experience, and worked for a Fortune 500 company designing their E-commerce platform before creating his own.

The brothers were dumbfounded by all the inefficiencies in E-commerce platforms they came across, such as features that needed to be built and the unnecessary effort it took to get from point A to point B. Even for these flawed services, large companies pay a fortune. Mainstream software can cost $35,000 annually. When taking into account the additional development costs, that can easily add up to half a million dollars. For smaller companies with smaller budgets, that cost is not an option. “Why do they have to be at a disadvantage?” the Rosenblatt brothers asked. Given their know-how in E-commerce and software development, the brothers saw an opportunity to build a platform from scratch, at a much lower cost to the client.

That opportunity became FutureEcom. The e-commerce platform acts as a one stop shop for any platform needs, from front-end to back-end. The front-end of a website includes the web design and anything the public can see. Design is critical—it can sway a customer towards or away from a website. Something as simple as moving text from the right to the left of the web page can have an impact on visitors. Although altering front-end design to maximize customer engagement can be very complicated, FutureEcom handles any changes needed. The back-end consists of an admin panel that allows the store to process their orders, view reports and help engage customers. The platform also handles speed. Speed is significant, because if a site takes a long time to load, that’s a potential loss—the average person has an attention span of five seconds! “Every tenth of a second will affect the purchase decision to continue or not,” said Eliezer.

Something else that affects a purchase decision: data. In order to make sales, one needs to understand a customer’s needs and tailor their experience accordingly. Customer data can help increase sales by offering relevant coupons and offers for customers. Examples include birthday specials and customized deals based on previous buying behavior. FutureEcom provides customer’s behavior data and assists companies in their customized offerings.

Another great feature of the software is its flexibility. With the handy plug-in systems, it’s easy to make changes—from selling items in only certain locations to tweaking the web design and everything in between. Mainstream E-commerce software was made from a one-size-fits-all mentality. “Businesses don’t work like that. Every business works differently,” said Avi.

The process to launch FutureEcom’s platform is simple. Upon discussing industry, target market and desired web design, FutureEcom’s team works to get the site running as soon as a few days. Many clients enjoy the templates offered, while others enjoy creating a new template altogether. Once the site is launched, changes can continue to be made if needed. This proves useful after gathering more data on customers’ wants and needs.

Once the site is up and running, the goal is to garner heavy web traffic. Visitors are obviously good, but when a site isn’t scaled to handle heavy traffic flow, it can crash. “You don’t want to be the victim of your own success,” acknowledged Avi. Maybe as a consumer, you’ve experienced this when trying to score that incredible deal at your favorite retailer, when all of a sudden, the site slows to a crawl, or even goes down. It’s frustrating—both for the customer and client. Luckily, FutureEcom’s platform can handle traffic overflow. While competitors offer stability for heavy traffic, it comes at a hefty price. FutureEcom understands that growth takes time. Therefore, the server grows with your customer base—this scalability saves significant costs.

Ultimately, it comes down to three things that give FutureEcom a competitive edge: speed, scalability and flexibility. With those three, your business is bound to grow.

The company is based out of Israel but was created with a global impact in mind and services are offered worldwide.
