Sophomores and juniors participating in Names, Not Numbers INC©: an interactive, multi-media Holocaust project created by educator, Tova Fish-Rosenberg, went to The Museum of Jewish Heritage in Manhattan. The students did a self-guided tour through the exhibit “Auschwitz: Not Long Ago, Not Far Away.” The girls then had an opportunity to debrief with the director of education at the museum, who helped them process the information, images and artifacts. This is a crucial part of the curriculum before the students begin the next phase of the program.
