Peer tutoring is an amazing way for Ma’ayanot students to tackle academic challenges, share what they know and help each other grow. Peer tutoring is open every morning to all Ma’ayanot students across all subjects. Students are able to sign up for peer tutoring as needed for a myriad of reasons; absences, review for a test or just clarification on a particular topic in class. The program is overseen by the Ma’ayanot Learning Center and student representatives Ruthie Rapps (‘21) and Elisheva Raskas (21) who carefully match up the well suited peer tutors according to what’s needed. Tutors can even be from different grades, allowing for new relationships to flourish between the grades. It is gratifying to see the achdut of students, personifying the love and camaraderie of the Ma’ayanot family.
