Pi Day (3/14) was observed at BPY this week (a day late!) In Morah Lauren’s MS classes, students made bracelets where each digit of Pi was represented by a different color bead (of the students’ choosing) and everyone had a black decimal point. While Pi has no repeating pattern and continues infinitely, it was awesome to see the digits of Pi represented in colorful beads and to help the students understand Pi through art, visuals and hands-on learning.
