The children of The Lauren Elise Bier Nursery School at Congregation AABJ&D were so excited to return to school after Pesach vacation and welcome in the spring. They enjoyed playing outside in the beautiful weather and exploring the plants that are starting to bloom. The 3s classes learned about the parts of a plant and connected it to their letter of the week, V. They built their own plants using vegetables as the different parts of the plant (carrots for the root, celery for the stem, lettuce for the leaves and broccoli for the flowers). It was so much fun seeing where food comes from. Everyone looks forward to continuing to enjoy the beautiful spring weather.
