Spring has sprung and the students at The Springboard School at Lubavitch on the Palisades are ready! They enjoyed learning about how plants and flowers grow through various science experiments in the classroom. After charting what they already knew about flowers, the children painted and “planted” flowers in the corn sensory table. The students learned that plants need water and sun to grow, and observed “photosynthesis” through an experiment using water and food coloring. They are so proud to see what they’ve learned outside in action!
