Cheder Yaldei Menachem travelled to Israel this week to experience its holiness firsthand! The children brought along their passports and boarded the airplane. On route they watched a video with many of the sacred places there. After landing, they went around to explore the different areas there. The first stop was at the Kotel! The children were so excited to daven there and put their personal notes in the wall. On they went to Tzfat, to design a chart with the precious letters of the alef bet. From there, the trek continued to the shuk, where the children used shekalim to pay for a delicious falafel lunch. They milked cows and squeezed oranges into juice at the kfar and concluded their day by relaxing at the beach playing with sand and floating boats on the water. What a whirlwind of learning fun!
