Bruriah announced that beginning next fall, Yael Kaisman will assume the new role of mechanechet. Kaisman has been an integral part of the Bruriah family for over four decades and this new role will enable her to interact with and support students across the school. Kaisman will continue to teach the entire senior grade, adding an amazing new machshava class to the curriculum and providing Israel guidance. Kaisman shared that she is “excited to work closely with more Bruriah students, build relationships and support them for many years to come!”
In her new capacity, Kaisman will also deliver periodic classes on hashkafa to all grades, speak at special school-wide events, and be available to meet one-on-one with any student in Bruriah who has questions or who may be struggling with specific hashkafic challenges.
Mrs. Kaisman is an educator, lecturer, life coach and outreach professional who is recognized internationally for her wit, warmth and captivating personal connection. She has taught thousands of Bruriah students and has helped guide so many on the path towards developing their personal connection with Hashem. The creation of this new position is part of Bruriah’s vision for strengthening its core values while moving the institution forward.
