Yavneh gan students got into the Shavuot spirit by creating and learning details about flowers. They learned about the flowers that bloomed on Har Sinai after Bnei Yisrael received the Torah. After learning the Hebrew parts of the flower, (giv-ol, alei koteret, avakshim, and alim), the children created color diffused flowers, stained glass flowers and bead flowers to go into their vases for Shavuot. They also read the book “A Dozen Daisies for Raizy” by Rebecca Klempner.
