I’m a huge fan of your column! You always give great advice. I need your help. My parents are vegetarians and don’t serve meat at home, but I always have hot dogs and burgers at my friend’s house. How do I get my parents to start serving me meat? Please help me!

Dear Starving Simcha,

Meat is a treat, but only sometimes is it for you to eat.

At your friends’ houses you can taste meat’s glory, but if you’re at home then that’s a completely different story.

This is how it has to be, until you’re older and live free.

Then you can eat meat galore, with nobody to tell you your behavior they deplore.
