BPY’s middle school students have been enjoying their end of the year trips and grade bonding!
The eighth grade students were so excited to have a different, yet very special eighth grade graduation trip! With the help of a student committee, the administration and teachers, a trip was planned that was the perfect way to celebrate this year and mark the students’ special milestone- graduation from BPY! On Monday, the students spent the day at Six Flags enjoying the company of their friends while enthusiastically riding the many roller coasters and enjoying the amusement park atmosphere! The day ended with a special dinner at Chickies. The next morning, they returned to school ready for an epic day! They traveled to Battle Creek paintball testing their marksmanship skills on four different playing fields. The students used teamwork and some self preservation skills to try to dodge the paint bullets. Next, was a picnic lunch and a trip to Skyzone where they bounced and showed their acrobatic skills. Back at school, the students enjoyed a delicious BBQ catered by Parties By Shimon. After signing yearbooks, everyone gathered around the firepit for a goodbye kumzitz!
Seventh graders had a blast climbing, swinging, jumping and testing their fear (or not) of heights on the walls and obstacle courses at High Exposure. Afterwards, they were treated to a delicious ice cream sundae bar! The students ‘found their inner artist’ when painting their masterpieces guided by Paint With Me. The day was not over yet! Team building and bonding continued over dinner catered by Taco185, dancing and a game show finale with Digital Dov.
The sixth graders spent an exhilarating, adventurous day at Ring Homestead climbing, zipping and working together to reach new heights. The students cooled off with ice cream. Torah, Art and nature were incorporated into their next activity. They took pesukim from the Torah that spoke about nature and the students working together with Farmer Yosef transcribed each pasuk onto a plaque to decorate BPY’s Torah Garden. Thank you kitah vav for that beautiful Torah inspired enhancement.
