Moriah Class of 2021 Has Final Week

Last week was certainly a joyous whirlwind for Moriah’s Class of 2021! On Sunday, they celebrated the momentous milestone of their eighth grade graduation. Then, on Tuesday evening, the students came back to Moriah for a special graduation dinner, marked by delicious food, divrei Torah and remarks from student council members. The night concluded with the yearbook distribution, the long anticipated memento of their Moriah careers. Student yearbook staff members announced to a surprised Nurse Toby that this year’s yearbook is dedicated to her and presented her with a personalized copy. After the yearbooks were handed out, students got to spend time together signing each others’ copies. They enjoyed themselves so much, they needed to be “kicked out” of the building! Students then returned the following morning to head to a fun-filled day at Hershey Park. The Class of 2021 enjoyed bonding and singing on the bus almost as much as the rides and games at Hershey! This has truly been an unforgettable week that will stick with the students as they move on to high school. Class of 2021 will be missed—it’s been a blast!
