What’s included in the elderly wellness check plan?
Our suggested plan for senior home care services includes four visits per month, during which our trained specialists use a comprehensive checklist to evaluate your loved one’s fundamental well-being. We take note of things such as:
Where clients are and what they’re doing upon arrival
General appearance (any acute health issues present)
General demeanor (if they greeted us, for example)
Medication supply (adequate or inadequate)
Appearance of their dwelling (clean, messy)
Functioning of major systems/appliances (lights, heating/cooling, thermostat, toilets, sinks, smoke detectors etc.)
Your senior’s Golden Check wellness specialist can help with any basic household needs, such as changing batteries and lightbulbs or bringing in the mail. If more complex issues, such as plumbing or electrical, are detected, we can help set up an appointment with a qualified professional.
While our staff are not doctors, they will report to you if they suspect any problems. We will report information from elderly check-up services back to the designated family member. In the event of a medical emergency, the proper medical professionals will be called, and you will be alerted immediately.
