Mrs. Elana Kurtz’s third grade class at RPRY did a “book tasting” exercise in which the students learned about various genres in fiction and non-fiction. At the end of the lesson, tables were set up with different books and publications for the students to explore. Each student read a summary of the book and wrote answers to various thought-provoking questions in their “book tasting” menu.
