TABC is proud to announce that senior Yakov Halstuch has been named a National Merit Scholar semifinalist. National Merit Scholarship semifinalists are among the top high school seniors in the country based on their scores on the PSAT administered in the fall of 2020. Yakov will have the opportunity to compete to become a finalist and earn a $2,500 scholarship, which is awarded on a state-representational basis. Additionally, four other TABC seniors were named Commended students: Shimshy Gordon, Gavi Kigner, Ezra Lebowitz and Eitan Nissel. Commended students are recognized for the exceptional academic promise demonstrated by their outstanding performance on the PSATs.
