(Courtesy of Chaverim) This past Thursday night, Chaverim of Bergen County held a special meeting featuring a mix of new and old members. Chaverim’s Sol Itzkowitz introduced Mark (Mendy) Schwartz, co-publisher of The Jewish Link, longtime TVAC member and deputy mayor of Teaneck, who gave an inspiring speech and dvar Torah to all those assembled. After the meeting, the new members were tested and all passed. Seven of the new members are pictured above and three were tested and passed the day after. The new members come from Teaneck, Bergenfield and Fair Lawn.
