This past week, Yeshivat Noam third grade scientists began a cross-curricular lesson about climate. Monday was a discussion and deep dive into Social Studies about the climate in the different regions of the United States, while students learned about the bomb cyclone affecting the weather. Throughout the week the students have begun saying “mashiv haruach u’morid hageshem” and discussing the importance of rain and how weather in the west impacts the east. On Friday, students filled in a map of the day’s forecast and did a science experiment, creating their own clouds.
