Looking for a new space to host your upcoming simcha? Family event? Lecture series? Ongoing classes? With the renovation and expansion complete, the Young Israel of Teaneck (YIOT) is proud to announce that the new space is now available for rentals. This handicapped-accessible building, located in the Country Club area of Teaneck, features a variety of spaces that can be rented as well as an elevator, a ramp in the women’s section of the main sanctuary and two generous coat rooms.
The new social hall is located on the same level as the main sanctuary, across a sky-lit galleria. It boasts high ceilings, multiple windows and four beautiful netilat yadayim washing stations just outside the hall.
The social hall can accommodate up to 200 seated guests at round tables without a dance floor or 150 seated guests with a dance floor. The YIOT takes the stress out of your simcha planning by not only providing the tables and chairs, but also setting them up as per your specifications. All you need to do the day of is show up.
Need a location for your next lecture or shiur? The beit midrash can accommodate 225 people, the social hall can accommodate 325 and the main sanctuary can accommodate 425. The lower level of the building has six spacious classrooms that can be subdivided into eight depending on need.
The expansion features a brand new warming kitchen. Choose from an extensive list of YIOT-approved caterers to cater your next event at the YIOT. The social hall and classrooms have already been rented for events such as shalom zachor, sheva brachot, aufruf, kiddush and lunch, brit milah and accompanying seudah, bar and bat mitzvahs, birthday parties, anniversary parties and engagement parties. Most recently, the YIOT hosted two Project Ezrah events and the Yeshiva University Kollel Yom Rishon®. Next week an official Chanukat HaBayit and dedication ceremony will take place at the YIOT.
The Young Israel of Teaneck is located at 868 Perry Lane in Teaneck and has a parking lot and ample street parking.
Rental requests are now being accepted up to two years in advance. The YIOT follows the State of New Jersey’s COVID guidelines. All reservations are subject to YIOT cancellation and/or changes based on these guidelines.
