(Courtesy of One Israel Fund) One Israel Fund, the premier organization in the United States providing support for the areas of Judea and Samaria, will launch a 36-hour virtual campaign from 11 a.m. EST on Wednesday, December 22 to 11 p.m. EST on Thursday, December 23, with a special online entertainment program beginning at 8 p.m. EST on Thursday evening.

The theme of this program is “Give a Little Heart.” The organization’s goal is to raise $360,000 during the campaign. They are asking people to give from their hearts to keep the residents of Israel’s heartland safe, secure and prospering. Executive Vice President Scott M. Feltman said: “One of the most wonderful experiences I had this year was taking donors on a mission so they could see, firsthand, where their dollars went. If every donor could see, in person, the lifesaving and life-altering magic their dollars create, I have no doubt they would at least triple their donation!”

One can contribute to the campaign at oneisraelfund.org/heartland. The campaign will conclude with a star-studded program on Thursday night at 8:00 p.m. hosted by master of ceremonies Nachum Segal. Those who participate will have the opportunity to hear from: Col. Golan Vach, the commander of the IDF Search and Rescue Unit which travels around the world to assist in natural disasters (most recently in Surfside, Florida after the tragic building collapse); comedian Ashley Blaker, star of two Off-Broadway productions and two BBC series; violinist Ariella Zeitlin; tech expert and vlogger Hillel Fuld; and many others.

Over just this past year, due to the generosity of their donors, One Israel Fund was able to fund myriad projects both by themselves and in conjunction with other local agencies in Judea and Samaria. One of them, the Binyamin Medical Center, once completed will be a state-of-the-art medical facility that will demonstrably change the way residents of the northern suburbs of Jerusalem receive medical care. From emergency services to routine medical visits to allied health specialties, this facility will save countless lives.

Generous donors have enabled residents’ lives to be safer and better by enabling One Israel Fund to install surveillance cameras that prevent terrorist attacks and aid in search and rescue, as well as “Armadillo” protective blankets to protect people from shrapnel during rocket attacks. Not only are emergency kits and thermal drones provided through money raised, but money also goes toward One Israel Fund’s training of how to use the security equipment donated.

In addition to ambulances, communication devices, tablets and searchlights, donors helped build many quality-of-life projects including a dance studio, numerous playgrounds and sports fields, mikvaot, pinot chamot (hospitality centers for soldiers), synagogues, a new mother’s center and so much more in 2021 alone.

More of all the items mentioned above are greatly needed. Also, at oneisraelfund.org, donors can find additional projects that still need funding under the “Impact” menu, including many schools.
