The Heichal HaTorah ninth and 12th graders enjoyed an amazing shabbaton in the Teaneck/Bergenfield community. Before heading to their hosts homes, the talmidim started the shabbaton with an exciting bubble soccer game, fun time in the pool with friends and a delicious lunch. On Friday night, the talmidim gathered at Congregation Beth Abraham, together with rebbeim and the kehilla, and had an amazing ruach filled and inspirational davening. After an amazing and plentiful Friday night seuda, the talmidim learned b’chavrusah and then heard a shiur from Rav Skulnick. After the Sshiur, Rabbi Schwechter, Heichal mashgiach, led a lebeidik tish with singing and divrei Torah. Davening on Shabbos morning was held at the Jacoby home. The lunch seuda was enjoyed in the host homes. Seuda shelishit at Rav Stechler’s house was the highlight of the shabbaton with inspirational singing, bonding and stunning thoughts of Torah—it was the perfect way to end the shabbaton.
