(Courtesy of Touro College) Congratulations to the fourth cohort of the Touro College Academy of Leadership and Management (TCALM) for successfully completing their leadership training.
This innovative, year-long program provides faculty and academic leaders with the opportunity to further develop skills to enhance performance and prepare participants for growth opportunities. As a pathway for professional development, TCALM builds on the participants’ strengths through hands-on presentations, problem-solving challenges and team-building experiences that build an understanding of the challenges and opportunities in the current higher education environment.
Kudos to local participants Heidi Fuchs of Teaneck, assistant dean for admissions at Touro College of Pharmacy; Sarah Klugmann of Clifton, director of admissions and recruitment at Touro’s Lander College for Women; Michael Kastner of New Milford, site director, medical imaging program at Touro’s New York School of Career and Applied Studies; and Larry R. Farkas, D.M.D. of Bergenfield, assistant director of preclinical education and director of the curriculum and technology management (CTM) team at Touro College of Dental Medicine.
