Preschoolers at Lubavitch on the Palisades celebrated Rosh Chodesh Shevat, the beginning of the month in which we celebrate the blooming of the trees in Israel. Children started their curriculum about fruits and vegetables with activities that focused on building vocabulary. They enjoyed starting their Tu B’Shevat projects. Students planted parsley plants which they will nurture and observe and hope to use for Pesach. During tefillah the children sang Hallel with instruments and teachers were treated to soups and salads to kick off the new month.
