Over the past few months, the WDS kindergarten students have been studying sefer Beresheit! Each week the students learned about the parsha, and then drew a portion of their choice. Either using phonics, they wrote a sentence about the picture or dictated their thoughts to the teachers. At the end, students put together each picture into a Torah. Additionally, they made a Torah cover and a yad. When it was completed, the kindergarteners had a siyum to celebrate and the Torahs were brought home to share. Kol hakavod!
