Last Tuesday, dozens of TABC students celebrated their accomplishments in TABC’s Shnayim Mikra Challenge. Each week, Shnayim Mikra participants take an optional quiz covering the parsha with Rashi. Additionally, many talmidim spend time during their Mincha break learning Chumash and Rashi in the Tzurba M’Rabanan program. TABC was proud to award those students who spend extra time learning with a special Dougies lunch to end the semester. Talmidim also had the unique privilege of hearing a message of inspiration from HaRav Mordechai Willig, legendary YU rosh yeshiva and rav in Riverdale. Rabbi Willig told the TABC boys about how his own father encouraged him to learn Chumash and Rashi and encouraged the students to continue growing in this critical area of Torah study.
