The RKYHS Career Club had the opportunity to go behind the scenes at the American Dream mega mall. On the insider tour of the facility, students met with representatives from the company, who spoke about the different jobs at each location including the amusement park, water park and ice rink. They detailed all the many jobs required to keep the facility running, in addition to the organization’s office. The canine security unit did a demonstration for the students of their process and explained the extensive security and safety measures they take each day. On their tour of the ice rink, the students met with the engineer who designed it, and learned facts about how it was created. A highlight of the trip was the opportunity to meet Raphael Ghermezian, one of the company’s owners, who offered insight into the American Dream complex.
