Naaleh’s ninth-grade Studio Art and Spanish elective classes joined together to learn about Mexican artist Frida Khalo. Mrs. Schneier and Señor Meneses delivered an animated presentation about the life of Frida Khalo and the rich symbolic representation of Mexican culture found within her works of art. A colorful slideshow was followed by a Khalo self-portrait project done on acetate.
