The Yeshivat He’Atid fourth graders read fiction and non-fiction books for their Book Club. The month’s theme was resilience. Each child selected a book with a main character or storyline reflecting resilience. As an extension activity, the children created T-shirts depicting a scene from their book and utilized words of resilience/ strength that described a character from the story to display on their shirts. The project cleverly connected literacy and positivity, and the T-shirts were creative and inspiring.
