(Courtesy of Bris Avrohom) On Yud Shevat, which is both the yahrzeit of the previous Rebbe as well as the day our Rebbe accepted leadership, Bris Avrohom arranged a beautiful farbrengen. The keynote speaker was R’ Sholom Mordechai Rubashkin, who shared and described the beauty and necessity of living a life with emunah and bitachon, and how they connect to the ma’amar of the Rebbe, Basi L’gani. The crowd sat mesmerized for three hours as he went on to speak about his personal suffering, and how it was only through constant emunah and bitachon that he prevailed, and was now miraculously standing and speaking before them and thanking Hashem for His unfathomable chassadim.

Rabbi Rubashkin farbrenged with the assembled till the wee hours of the morning, moving them with his words. Many people purchased his biography at the conclusion of the night.

A full, festive dinner was served complete with lots of l’chaim.
