The BPY middle school girls basketball team consists of 9 players; Amalya Marmar, Annie Miller, Elisheva Shicly, Izzi Ramirez, Leah Litwack, Lihi Cohen, Liyora Marmar, Natalie Solomon and Siona Rosenberg. They may be a small team compared to others in their league, but they’re strong spirited and encouraging of each other. Girls on the team who didn’t know each other or weren’t close before have bonded over basketball. The team makes sure to have good sportsmanship, and respect each other and other teams. Although the team has not yet won a game this season yet, they are determined to improve their skills even further, and triumph in future games. Even when they are losing, they play hard until the end. The team has a tradition of a different family providing pizza each game. They enjoy working together and supporting each other as a team. The team continues to develop their friendships and love for basketball!
