The Yeshivat He’Atid eighth-graders were tasked with developing a lesson plan for first graders reflecting a topic they learned in class. The students became the teachers as they entered the first-grade classroom to teach the children about various mitzvot, including lulav, etrog and mezuzah. This was a significant learning opportunity for the eighth-grade students who had to study the halachot of these mitzvot and cater their lesson to meet the needs of first-grade learners. The students developed an engaging and interactive lesson to present to the first-grade children. After their lesson, they were evaluated by their first-graders. Everyone did a fantastic job!
