The children of the Lauren Elise Bier Nursery School celebrated “Twosday” on February 22, 2022. It’s the first time in history that the date 2/22/22 coincided with a Tuesday. The children did different activities throughout the day to celebrate this special day. One of the activities was to do 22 repetitions of different gross motor activities. Our 2s class practiced making two with their fingers and the 3s class made special hats and buttons for the day. The pre-k class paired up with a friend and dressed in the same color. They looked into a mirror and saw the “reflection” of their twin. The children practiced counting to 22 and even did so counting by 2s.
