The juniors of Naaleh went on an inspiring Jewish History trip. They visited the Satmar, Lubavitch, Syrian, New Square and Breuer’s communities. The students learned about the hashkafos and histories of each community and heard from prominent figures such as Rabbi Goldwasser from Lander’s College for Women, Mrs. Monsour from the Syrian community, and Samson Bechofer from the Breuer’s community. The girls stepped into the kitchen of Satmar Bikur Cholim and saw all the volunteers selflessly making food and delivering it to hospitals that need kosher food. They also went to the Jewish Children’s Museum run by Chabad in Crown Heights and visited the Skverer Rebbe, where they received a beautiful bracha. All in all, it was an educational and transformative experience.
