Dear Shayna B.,
I want a phone. I think I’m old enough, mature enough, and responsible enough. The problem is, my parents disagree. They say I have to wait. I can’t wait! What should I do?

Dear Phone Loving Phil,
Probably the main reason your parents aren’t getting you a phone is because it costs money. You can get a job. Sell lemonade, sell stuff you don’t want, sell compliments, etc. And maybe you’ll make enough money for a phone and extra can go to צדקה, which is charity.
You can also check if your parents have any old phones and if they let you take them—or it— boom! Instant phone. If your parents have a phone that’s broken, ask them if you can have it and try and fix it if they say yes. If you don’t get your phone, a book is better for you to use.
Best of luck,Shayna B.
