Westchester Day School recently hosted the book launch premiere and party for “The Hidden Saint” (Level Best Books), a new novel by Mark Levenson of White Plains. The evening featured a lively and entertaining dialogue and Q&A between the author and WDS Head of School Rabbi Josh Lookstein. Their discussions touched on many of the major themes in the book, ranging from the origins of some of the mythical beings, such as the golem and the Yidoni, to comparing the world of the Hidden Saint with other literary universes. After the dialogue, the author fielded questions from the audience, read selected book excerpts and signed a number of copies. All proceeds from the books sold at the event will be donated to WDS. “The Hidden Saint” is available from Amazon and Barnes & Noble.
